"When you try your best but you don't succeed
When you get what you want but not what you need
When you feel so tired but you can't sleep"

Within the past three days I was..
Shortchanged of my efforts for my A levels
Given an opportunity in SMU for a double degree
Able to sleep with my eyes wide open


I wished I could understand God's love as much as I want to... I want to keep believing. I know God has been to my future and He said it is good.. But knowing is different from believing.

However today when I stared at the cross where God sacrificed his only son on, everything reached a point of clarity. God's love is unquestionable, unconditional, unselfish and most importantly patient.

Don't lose hope Vanessa, because within the next three weeks, you will succeed, have what you need and have a good night's sleep.
